NASA will try to launch space shuttle Wednesday

(AP) -- NASA will try to launch space shuttle Endeavour again Wednesday, after repairing a hydrogen gas leak that thwarted the first attempt.

In order to give Endeavour another shot, top space agency officials on Monday bumped an unmanned moon mission. The Atlas rocket had been scheduled to blast off Wednesday with a pair of lunar probes. That launch is now scheduled for no earlier than Thursday.

The potentially dangerous hydrogen gas leak prevented Endeavour and its seven astronauts from blasting off to the Saturday. Wednesday's liftoff would come at 5:40 a.m.

Endeavour will deliver the last piece of Japan's space station lab.
