(Â鶹ÒùÔºOrg.com) -- The world's largest vacuum chamber resides at the NASA Glenn Research Center's Space Power Facility, located at Plum Brook Station in Sandusky, Ohio.

It measures 100 feet in diameter and towers 122 feet in height. The chamber's immense size and ability to simulate the vacuum of space make it ideal for testing of the Orion crew exploration vehicle and other space flight vehicles.

Pictured here are the doors of the test chamber, which are 50 X 50 feet and have double seals to sustain the vacuum environment.
